Help Ben win

If you're looking for a silly poll to participate in today, we've got one for you.

The new tech gossip site ValleyWag.com has recently conducted several polls to determine "the sexiest man in tech."  Six Apart co-founder Ben Trott has made it through four rounds to the finals which are happening today.

If you'd like to help Ben win, go here and vote for him. The poll ends at 5pm PST today so vote early and vote often!

I hope Ben wins. BTW, I think the picture at ValleyWag.com is a better pic, but that might due to the fact that it shows his whole body.

You could've had the same effect by posting the following:

Please go here and vote for the one that looks better. He's ours.

We would know. It's a no brainer, really.

And YAY for us Chicagoans voting early and voting often. :-P

I agree with everyone. It's not even a QUESTION. I'd be all over that (we're I not getting married and he not already married) as opposed to the other dude.

Ben looks so much better anyway! Definitely no question as to who's going to win.

Yeppers. All one has to do is look at the pictures, and it's clear that Ben is the best candidate!

Do you suppose that there is a similar message on MySpace, urging people to vote for James Murdoch?

I don't really want to be a killjoy, but...

Is this sort of thing really related to getting feedback about LiveJournal? I'm happy to provide feedback, fill in polls and what have you, but I try to keep my friends list fairly small to cut down on reading time and save my sanity, which means tha communities with things that interestme not a jot tend to go. I sat through the "Californian female teen blogger wanted!" entries, even though I didn't like them, since I could see how perhaps they were vaguely relevant to this community, but this seems something of a step too far.

If this sort of thing is likely to continue then I don't have a problem with that; it just means I'll no longer be watching the communtiy. It would be nice to know, though.

I thought this was in [info]lj_spotlight actually. As it's someone related to LJ... in the spotlight. Okay, so it's a pretty tenuous link either way.

kevin rose (http://www.valleywag.com/tech/valleywag-hotties/valleywag-hotties-the-young-and-the-blogging-154678.php) makes me want to do dirty things that haven't even been invented. I loved when he was on techtv.
